nothing came out...will they come out this year?????

and is there anyway to scare away rabbits before the plants some coming up this springWill my seeds grow this year and how do i scare away the rabbit this year?
You can't scare away rabbits. You can only fence them away from your plants.........and the fence has to be tall enough and sturdy enough........40 inches tall minimum.....not bendable by a rabbit leaning against the wire........and partially buried into the ground because those suckers will dig too.

You selected some tough seeds to sow. You should have started them indoors and transplanted them out. If you can't do that, try sowing some easier seeds along with your selected plants. That way when the easier plants appear you'll know if your maintenance techniques are working. Maybe you over or under watered last year, the soil was too cold, or maybe the rabbits ate the seedlings as they popped up.

Easier to grow seeds include marigold, zinnias and cosmos. You don't have to let them continue to grow if your preferred plants are intermixed. Once your preferred plants come up, pinch out the nurse crop.

Remember perennial and biennial plants, especially the biennials, won't be much to look at the first year. Many look like groundhugging weeds. It takes them 2 years before they flower. The second year they stand up and flower. Both bi's and perennials will spend that first year concentrating on developing a strong root or food storage system before they turn their attention to flowering. Will my seeds grow this year and how do i scare away the rabbit this year?
you have to fence out rabbits...good luck
your seeds have passed away,,,i use a .410 shotgun to control rabbits then the fox and owls,,have a free meal,,your chances of scaring a rabbit away are nil,,,put up a fence ...
Join a seed swap on line. People trade seeds and plants on line. There must be one for your area. But in trades from Canada and the U.S. Not all trades may make it through. The regulations for crossing borders are getting more strict. If any of the seeds you planted need to go through a cold spell before sprouting, something may come up.

Get a cat or go to a gun supply store. The store may have rabbit repellent you can buy. I have red that to scare birds from eating seed, some people put belts or rubber snakes in there garden.

Birds are afraid of snakes. There may be something in the rabbit repellent that they don't like as well.
