Do you have a Rabbit or Guinea Pig outdoors?

Not strictly a question but a reminder...

Pleeease make sure your animals have enough hay for bedding, plenty of food, fresh water and a warm waterproof cover over their hutch in the cold weather.

From a warm and contented HouseRabbit who's very happy to be living indoors!Do you have a Rabbit or Guinea Pig outdoors?
My rabbit stay's indoor's.Do you have a Rabbit or Guinea Pig outdoors?
We have two guinea pigs who live outside for the summer, but we brought them in about a month ago when the weather started getting cold.... I don't think there's enough hay or bedding to keep them warm in this weather!

Merry Christmas to you all!!!
hi there

Of course you can sleep in side. set up an area in laundry etc and you can actually teach them to use the kitty litter tray. just put a bit of there droppings in there and they learn really quick
My rabbit are inside for the winter!!
My guinea pig lives inside, near a window and near the Xmas tree.
Good thought. My outdoor bunny really loved to play in her straw and hut when it got cold.
You are right
no mine live inside in an indoor cage its cruel to keep them outside this time of the year no amount of bedding will stop them freezing to death
yes i agree
cool... i was gonna say none in this weather... but if you have to... make sure there warm... plenty of hay... and even cover them up at night... dont forget about the little guy!!
my piggies are inside hunni
Mine rabbits have had central heating installed this year. They applied for a council grant, admittedly they did pretend to be asylum seekers though. No problems, the cheque arrived within four days. They're now applying for double glazing and roof insulation!
my rabbit lives outside and it is the happiest rabbit ever. i kept it in the house for the first three years and i used to bite. now it has a outside home and it is the sweetes rabbit you can ever have.it no longer bites
Guinea pig has to come inside for the winter. It gets to cold for them outside, they die.
Good for you.Guinea pigs also do not like the heat.Give them a frozen bottle of water which they like to lie on to keep them cool.
Yeah sure, but keep em clean or the flys will irritate them in the summer. You can buy spray for that.Sweet!
