Can a rabbit get pregnant at 13 weeks?

Ok my doe who is 13 weeks old got in with my buck who is 16 weeks old, not sure if he can get her pregnant either?


i have bred rabbits before but im not if they can this young.


if she can and ends up pregnant is there anything i can do to help her?Can a rabbit get pregnant at 13 weeks?

the best thing to do is to seperate them because yes they could breed though it is not certain they will yet it wont be long before they are old enough.





if she is bred the best thing to do is around 28 days after you seperate them put a small box in for her with straw or hay or shavings (not pine) in for her to use as a nest box if you see she is pulling fur which is normal but not putting it in the box then place it in there yourself but make sure each time you handle the box once it is in you pet momma first to get her smell on your hand





then around 30-32 days after breeding depending on the time of day she gets bred she will have the litter of kits but with her age and it being a first litter she may not even have them in the box which would not be a good thing if you see that soon enough and your handle to get a pet or two on her so you have her smell on your hand you can place the babies in the box and hope she finishes then just watch to make sure she goes into the box at least once a day rabbits only feed their kits once a day





you have to make sure you have her smell on your hand/s if you have to touch a baby to put it into the box because if not she most likely will kill it





after about a week you can start putting just a bit of food each day in the box for the babies to nibble on and around 3 weeks they will start coming out of the box and eatting with momma and still nuse once a day from her at five weeks they are fully weaned or you can pull them from momma's cage and that is when you would find homes for them if you email me at handsome_bill2000@yahoo.com with what kind of rabbit and that i can even tell you the amount to feed and how much and how fast to up food for if she is preg
