How come the Easter bunny carries eggs when rabbit's don't lay eggs?

Because the bunny doesn't work for union wages and the chicken does? How come the Easter bunny carries eggs when rabbit's don't lay eggs?
Actually, Easter began when Nimrod married Semiramis in Babylon. He died and she wasn't ready to give up her power so she said that he ascended into the heavens and became the sun god. Mithra, Ra, etc. Well, months later she became pregnant and claimed it was the rays of the sun that made her pregnant. She gave birth to a son and named him Tammuz, who she reported to be Nimrod reincarnated. So people started worshiping them as gods.

When Tammuz was 40 he was killed by a wild boar during a hunting trip. This is where the 40 days of weeping for Tammuz come from, also known as Lent. Later Semiramis died and the story is told that she came down from Heaven and landed in the Euphrates River as an egg. A bird found her and saved her, as a reward she turned him into a Rabbit.

So on Easter, sun god worshipers also sacrifice three month old children that were conceived when priests would impregnate women on an alter to Semiramis, or Aphrodite if you wish to call her. The eggs would then be dipped in the blood of these infants.

There is more but not much room here. Look it all up it is true. How come the Easter bunny carries eggs when rabbit's don't lay eggs?
Originally he wasn't a rabbit, he was a European hare. The idea was brought over by German immigrants where there was an old folk tale/myth/joke about hares laying eggs. This is probably due to the fact that hares don't live in burrows, they raise their young in ';forms'; in long grass which look like the nests of some birds. It was probably a sort of tease - sending someone to look for hare's eggs meant an impossible quest.

Please ignore any neo-pagan fantasies,
have you ever met a chicken? they aren't all that cute and cuddly. they can be quite mean if they are your typical barnyard chicken.

bunnies on the other hand are cuddly and furry and lend themselves to being the mascot of a holiday more easily than a chicken.
Easter is a pagan holiday dedicated to the goddess of fertility. The eggs and rabbit are symbols of fertility.
Eggs represent fertility, as does Spring. During Spring, many animals give birth.
The Easter Bunny isn't an ordinary rabbit! Everyone knows that and no one ever said he lays the eggs himself. He just paints them in wonderful colors!
Why do dogs have and bury bones when they don't lay bones?

How come you have food in your house that didn't come out of your body?
Some stupid traditional part of Easter made by some stupid person. I have no freakin idea.
I don't know, I guess because spring is when everything grows back. And the rabbit and chicks are spring animals I guess?
idk but when i was little my brother **** on the carrot we left out for the bunny and in the morning my dad threw up :D that when i found out he wasnt real xD
well he is a chiken-bunny. first his daddy (a bunny) found a hot chik and the rest.... is history
Because it sounds better than:

';The Easter Chicken'; ??
because kids would have nightmares if the bunny gave birth to 12 baby bunnies in front of them
Your telling me you cant think of one place he can store all that chocolaty goodness
lol

b/c they are not really eggs, they r like chocolate.
hes a magical animal
there is no such thing as the easter bunny here in the south we fry bunnies and eat them
why does santa claus carry presents when humans dont give birth to presents... aside from babies .
Thats a good point! I guess its because hes a holiday thing... kinda like santas flying sleigh... if you know what i mean
His best friend, the chicken, is napping.
