I need to know how high a rabbit can jump, because i'm making a fence around my vegetable patch. Can you help.

you should worry more about their digging abilities

make sure you put your fence deep into the ground too or they will just burrow underneathI need to know how high a rabbit can jump, because i'm making a fence around my vegetable patch. Can you help.
You should put it down a foot in the ground and about 2 feet above ground cause they dig under alsoI need to know how high a rabbit can jump, because i'm making a fence around my vegetable patch. Can you help.
Don't know how high they jump ,but I used to work at a nursery and we had 2 foot high fences and that worked. Also as 'danceswithwolves' said above, they need to be burried in the ground too because they burrow under.
My girlfriends rabbit falls off the bedside cabinet.....all the time ....but that depends on how slimey it gets after a session
you should plant marigolds around your garden area to keep the rabbits from eating your veggies
Now as I'm a owner of rabbits who love to excape! and someone who has a veg patch too - you need to think about them digging as well as jumping over!!

If you are talking about wild rabbits you need to put your wire fence at least 4ft deep in the ground. Pet ones I'd say 2ft.

Heigh wise about 4 -6ft.

I have a rabbit who sees nothing in jumping about 2 1/2 ft on to his run and then climbing the rest of it!!

Good luck!!
rabbits can not only jump, dig they can climb to an extent. Make the fence as high as you can but dont use fencing that the rabbit can use as a ';ladder'; also you will have to put fence deep into the ground to stop digging. Rabbits do not like certain flowers like marigolds so plant them round the perimeter of the veg patch
The hardware stores sell wire fence designed for this. It's about twenty four inches tall, but part of it needs to be buried, so your looking and 18 to 20 inches in height.
They don't jump too high. a fence over 2 feet should do. be sure to secure the area between the fence and the ground; possibly even burrying the fence a few inches down. Rabbits are less inclined to jump over something and will instead opt to dig through, around or under it.
we once found are rabbit sitting on the roof of a two storey hutch
At least 3 to 3陆 feet above and 2 to 2陆 feet below - otherwise the little blighters will find a way! If you have clay soil then 18'; below will do. (Don't do what I did and trap one inside - doh!) Good luck!
