Why is my rabbit being careless for her kits?

she just gave birth %26amp; i noticed that she just steps on them.. ?? is that suposed to be normal? Why is my rabbit being careless for her kits?
This is normal for rabbits. When she goes to feed her kits, she will jump into the nest box, which looks like she is jumping right on top of them. She is really getting it so the kits are underneath her and able to find the nipples and feed. Even if it seems like she is being reckless, she is not actually stepping on the kits. On the other hand, kits are pretty good about staying out of her way. As soon as mom jumps into the nest, the kits only care about eating. Why is my rabbit being careless for her kits?
its normal for the mother to jump on her kits.

she usually feeds them when she jumps on the nest.

it doesnt hurt them with she jumps on them.
Yes it is very normal. She loves them, but she knows they don't need as much attention. Don't worry. It is very normal.
Rabbits don't care for a litter the way a dog or cat will. They only feed once or twice a day and generally ignore the kits otherwise.

The kits should be in a nest box. The doe should have made a nest, but the kits can fall out and get cold. A nest box keeps them contained while allowing the doe to feed them.
yes it's very normal. rabbits don't care about their young. at least they're not as vicious as hamster, where the father eats his young.
