COuld it be that he jumped while peeing :\Why is my rabbit still spraying after being neutured?
Hi there.

It can take a number of weeks for the spraying to stop after a male has been neutered.

I hope I helped :)Why is my rabbit still spraying after being neutured?
It takes him a little while to get all the extra hormones out of his system and unlearn the behaviour. He will calm down, just not straight away. My rabbit was done about two or three weeks ago and he's settled down a lot already.
It can take a while after the neutering for the spraying to stop. It will stop though.
Their body is pumping around hormones even faster now, it'll take a while for them to stop. Mine humped each other for a while after neutering/spaying
It can take up to 3 months for the bad habits to disappear.

Up until then testosterone is still at high levels in the rabbits system.

Make sure the buck cannot smell any doe's as this will encourage him to spray.

Make sure his cage has been thoroughly disinfected to take away old spray as this will also encourage him.
