I have four other domestic rabbits what should i do to keep this one alive...i eyes and ears are still closed.I have a wild baby rabbit, what should I do to keep it alive? It is very young and my dog had gotten its mom?
Make sure you keep it in a warm place, away from drafts, windows, etc. You might want to put it on a blanket, covered with a thin blanket, and then put it the blanket near a heater, or ontop of a mildly warm heatpad or something of the sort.
Do NOT put it with the other rabbits, though there is a chance one of them might mother the baby, there is also a chance they may reject it... I've never had rabbits, but if rabbits act anything like hamsters do, that's bad news.
You should buy the kind of milk that you give real babies... the kind that's supposed to be a substitute for breastmilk. You'll need to feed the baby rabbit milk from a soft-tipped syringe if you can get one, probably about once every 3 hours (unless it's sleeping.) It needs to be served warm, not hot.
But your best bet is always to call the ASPCA or a local animal rescue agency. And in general, it's the sure fire way for the bunny to survive.I have a wild baby rabbit, what should I do to keep it alive? It is very young and my dog had gotten its mom?
Are you sure your dog got its mother?? If not put him back out where you got him mom will come back. If you mean she's dead do not try to take care of the baby. It is hard to take care of baby bunnies and without the proper nutrition\food, hydration, care it will die . To help ensure a baby bunnies survival you must get it to an experienced wildlife rehabilitator. This is a national and international list of rehabilitators. http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.鈥?/a> You could also try to contact your local fish and wildlife they would probably know of a rehabilitator in your area. Btw wildlife is illegal to keep without a permit. Also they baby bunny could pass on a disease or parasite to your other rabbits
Some of those answers are ridiculous.
Never feed even an adult rabbit lettuce - they cannot digest it it should be carrot and cabbage.
Rabbit pellets can only be given after the kit (baby rabbit) is 6 weeks old.
1. Create a nest for it, using a shoe box while it is still small. Create air holes, fill the box with straw and hay.
2. Seek advice from a vet as to the best rearing solution to use. I fed my baby rabbits kitten milk 5 times a day through a syringe. They do not need feeding at night.
3. No solids no water no vitamins.
4. Minimal handling until eyes are open.
5. It is unlikely that you will be able to re-release the kit as it would need to be taught by its mother.
6. Once the baby is 8 weeks old you could take it to a re-homing centre or keep it yourself.
7. A wild-life specialist may have other suggestions as to what to do once the baby is 8 weeks.

Be nice to it. Treat it like it is your baby. Keep it warm. Feed it rabbit pellets till it is older then feed it hay. Study a lot about rabbit and figure out what it needs.
bring it to some vet or
1.get the rabbit
2.go outside
3.go to a golf course
4.leave rabbit
5.run
a couple of golfers will find it and they will do something with it
CALL ANIMAL CONTROL OR REHAB .
You have to be it's Mother and water and lettuce should keep it alive.
