You can connect it by putting the run next to your rabbit hutch door ( if its that type ) and it will connect or put things on the side so the rabbit cant get away.How would i connect my 6FT run to a rabbit hutch?
Cat flap, many people use this as a way of letting their rabbits have exercise but being able to control when they are allowed out. Get one which is lockable.

Found a wild rabbit in my snowman? What should I do?
because of crhistmas, i have a light snowman in my front lawn. I was raking leaves yesterday and i found a rabbit was in there. It was in the blank space in the snowman. It looked cold and hungry. Because it was 30 some degrees outside.

If you're positive it's a wild rabbit, best to leave it alone as they are VERY high stress animals. Rabbits don't hibernate but if you think he may be having trouble finding food you can put out some food for him. If you could get some timothy or alfalfa hay (from your local petshop) that would be ideal. A mix would be great and alfalfa hay would provide him with the extra fat he'd need to get through the winter. You could also provide rabbit pellets and vegetables. For veggies, dark leafy greens like dandelion leaves collard greens, broccoli and romaine lettuce are best. Carrots are ok but despite what you may have learned from bugs bunny, they're not good to be eating all the time as they're very high in sugars.
If you keep a close eye on him, watch how he's moving. If you see him limping, call a wildlife rehabilitator in your area. They may or may not help him as again, wild rabbits are VERY high stress and their survival rate in human care is VERY low
Please do not attempt to handle him yourself.
EDIT: If you think there's a possibility he may be a domestic rabbit, go to www.rabbit.org and locate a rabbit rescue or call up your local wildlife centre. Based on your area, they will be able to help you figure out whether it's a domestic or wild rabbit. Even domestic rabbits can stand the cold but only if they are strictly outdoor rabbits. my pregnant sister is coming for the holidays, and a friend asked me to watch his rabbit. I'm wondering if there are health risks or other dangers. As far as i know, the rabbit has had all its shots and goes to the vet regularily. My sister is allergic to cats. Could she also be allergic to rabbits? Could an allergic reaction negatively affect her baby?Is having a rabbit around a pregnant woman bad for her?

When you clean her up do you put it back to the side she moves it from? If so she's just letting you know where she wants her litter box. lol. Bunnies can be very fussy where they have their 'furniture' and love to move it around. Does she have many toys to distract her if this is not the case? My bunnies have a teddy, plastic keys, jingly balls, toliet roll tubes stuffed with hay (occasionally treats too), a blankie and various other toys to suit each of their personalities. Flopsi likes to dig and chew so I got her a straw carrot for 拢1.50 from the pet shop that she loves ripping to shreds also these are good fun for bunnies but don't last too long:

As she jumps in and out, she bumps into the side and it slides. As far as chewing goes, try to put something in the cage for her to chew on, rabbits need to chew on things to wear away their teeth, which are continuously growing.
If it bothers you or makes a mess you could put something heavy like a rock in it. Or get a heavier litter box. also make sure she has things to chew on.
rabbits in the wild bury in the ground and warm them selves up and dig holes so what he/she is doing is just natural!! get more newspaper or straw in her/his cage! hope this helped

What makes an easier pet, rabbit or chinchilla? and if a rabbit (which I believe so) how can I talk my sister out of getting a chinchilla (she wants one real bad, but is a college student and doesn't have enough time yet can still provide about 3 hours of attention daily w/out my help which I will be doing.)

i believe a rabbit is easier because with a chinchilla you have to make sure not to get it wet cuz it can die if it gets wet. also they cost alot more than a rabbit. the average price for a chinchilla is about $110 some are even more then that!....and they are real skiddish, they dont like to be held as much....but with a rabbit it can hop around, it can get wet(if needed to be cleaned, you still shouldn't clean them that much only clean small animals after they have been sick to help them) and you can hold them. I myself am a rabbit owner and i just cant get enough of them! Don't listen to people when they say a certain animal gets sick more than the other....that only happends if you dont take care of it the right way....any animals can get sick!....but people who care keep them from dieing....and don't get a pet if you are not willing to give it the love and ATTENTION it needs!Want makes an easier to care for pet, a rabbit or Chinchilla?

But if she DEFINETLY wants either a rabbit or chinchilla. Either are great, yet rabbits are more social!

adopt 2 homeless kittens, they will entertain you for hours,and they pretty much take care of themselves. rabbits get sick and die easily, i dont know about chinchillas, but i would go for cats. good luck.clown mask
